Skål International is an Affiliate Member of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) since 1984.
Daniela Otero, CEO of the organisation, has been Member of the Affiliate Members Board between 2019 and 2021. She is currently, as of December 2021, a member of the World Tourism Organization’s World Committee on Tourism Ethics (WCTE).

The WTTC Safe Travels Stamp was created for travelers to recognize destinations and businesses around the world which have adopted the safe travels health and hygiene global standardized protocols. We are at a time when the protection of the traveler is essential for the recovery of the tourism industry. In order to help all our members and their companies, Skål International has adopted the World Travel & Tourism Council´s Safe Travels Stamp and
