1 Review on “Phuket Elephant Sanctuary”
Phuket Elephant Sanctuary is a must visit when on the island. It is the only ethical elephant sanctuary on the island and is a great educational experience for those who still do not understand how harmful elephant trekking and riding on elephants in Thailand is. You get to spend the day wandering the sanctuary alongside these gentle giants and watch them in their natural habitat. It is a truly beautiful experience highlighted by very knowledgable staff and caring mahouts. I have been to Phuket Elephant Sanctuary four times, and honestly cannot recommend it enough. Do consider visiting here when you’re in Phuket.
