Head north to the town of Kamala where you’ll find plenty of pubs, which also serve food that are popular with locals and expats alike. Further north, in Surin you’ll come across trendy venues and restaurants that offer style and sophistication.
Kata’s beach town atmosphere and assortment of bars, cafés and al-fresco dining venues make it suitable for families, as well as those wanting to party.
Rawai and Nai Harn have also gained a reputation as being great places for a night out. Packed full of bars, some stand-alone and others within plaza-type complexes, it also boasts two popular nightclubs that stay open late which attract a large expat and local crowd.
