Here they help gibbon cubs left without parents. The purpose of the institution is to help animals rehabilitate and return to their native jungle. You can’t get close to the monkeys, but visitors can buy souvenirs or make a donation in favor of the gibbon they like.
During the rainy season, the waterfall can become more intense, making for a more dramatic view. The park is located about 20 minutes from Phuket town, making it a convenient day trip destination for those staying in the city. The park is easily accessible by car, motorcycle, or local transportation such as tuk-tuks and taxis.
